Everybody wave ...

Dulce and I joined a group of greyhound friends for a hike on Windy Hill followed by a picnic lunch in Menlo Park and a stroll downtown to Cafe Boronne (a local favorite). April 29th was a perfect day for this outing -- some wild flowers speckled the open space where we were hiking. And as you can see, the weather was very cooperative. A good time was had by all. Another fun day with the pack!

Dulce at Avenidas

Wednesday afternoon, Dulce volunteers at Avenidas as a dharma dog -- she helps me teach the meditation class. She hasn't missed very many weeks in the past 3 and a half years she's been with me!

Dulce's visit to Avenidas is a highlight of her week; she has developed a very special routine of who she sees before class and after, along with treats after class. Several people set their schedule around her weekly visits and look forward to seeing her as much as she looks forward to their attention and snacks (of course).
